Hoya Carnosa, the Porcelain Flower or Wax Plant is a popular species of flowering plant in the dogbane family Apocynaceae. It is one of the many species of Hoya native to Eastern Asia and Australia. It is a common houseplant grown for its attractive waxy foliage and if cared for properly, will bloom sweetly scented porcelain flowers. This plant appreciates bright, indirect light and needs humidity to thrive. Hoya Carnosa look exceptionally good in a hanging basket arrangement or flowing over the side of a planter.
